Key West summers are long. The temperatures start to rise in May and continue through October. The ocean water is warm and it’s a great time to snorkel, kayak, or just hang at the beach. We took advantage of a pleasant May evening by dining outdoors at Blue Heaven. The restaurant is a very popular breakfast spot (be prepared to wait) but they also serve very creative, fresh dinners. The atmosphere is more funky than romantic, so I wouldn’t consider it a good choice for a intimate wedding dinner. However, for a group, it would be a fun Key West experience. Even though it’s hot, summer is still a nice time for your Key West wedding.
