Restaurants for your Wedding Dinner
Key West Restaurants
Our recommendations for your wedding dinner. Celebrate at a waterfront restaurant. Also, we have listed some of other favorites to try during your Key West honeymoon.
HOT TIN ROOF
FINE DINING RESTAURANT
Zero Duval Street at Ocean Key Resort
Key West, Florida
An intimate fine dining restaurant located overlooking the Key West Harbor with incredible sunset views. You may choose to dine outdoors on the verandah or indoors in the tropically elegant dining room. Gary and I enjoyed the privacy of a cozy booth.
“…we loved Hot Tin Roof. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful.”
“…wanted to let you know that the Hot Tin Roof was the perfect spot for dinner after a few drinks on Duval street! All the food was delicious and we had a beautiful view of the water from our outside table. It is a bit on the expensive side but well worth it in our opinion. Only thing is to make sure to make reservations well in advance. They were completely full even on a Tuesday night.”
…”Oh boy oh boy the food at Hot Tin Roof was magical, and we got there just as the sky turned red – so gorgeous!”
A&B LOBSTER HOUSE
FINE DINING RESTAURANT
700 Front Street
Key West, Florida
Overlooking the historic seaport. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The downstairs casual restaurant, Alonzo’s, has a good happy hour.
CONCH REPUBLIC SEAFOOD COMPANY
CASUAL. GREAT HAPPY HOUR
631 Greene St
Key West, Florida
Located overlooking the historic seaport, this open air waterfront restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy Key West shrimp with a cold beer while listening to live music and watching the boats come and go. Locals love the Friday happy hour. They don’t take general reservations but do offer reserved areas with set menus for wedding receptions. Off-site catering is also available.
BLUE HEAVEN IN BAHAMA VILLAGE
CASUAL/FUNKY
729 Thomas Street
Key West, Florida
Jimmy Buffett wrote a song about this place and, the prices went up but it’s still the funkiest place to eat in Key West. Be prepared to eat gourmet food outside with a dirt floor beneath your feet and roosters running (or sometimes flying!) by. Go for breakfast. If you’re lucky, lobster benedict will be the on the menu.
B.O.’s FISHWAGON ON CAROLINE STREET
SUPER CASUAL/FUNKY
801 Caroline Street, Key West, Florida
Okay, so this could be the 2nd funkiest place to eat in Key West. Basically, this is a cement slab with a make-shift tin roof. Great conch fritters, fish sandwiches and the BEST french fries (hand-made). Boog Powell once cooked me barbeque here! Go on Friday for happy hour. There is live music (usually New Orleans style jazz) and cold beer.
